A beardie is a name commenly reffering to hte bearded dragon. They are desert dwelling insectabors common to the austrailian outback. Their natural diet consists of crickets, locust, and smaller rodents. Though in captivity they will eat most any insect that is not concidered poisionous. They have been domseticated and selectivly breeded into producing certin colorations of scales in todays market.
Dunkelzhann is roughly 6 years old. Bearded dragons can live to be anywhere from 15-30 years of age, commonly shorter in the more exotic breeds such as the "German Giant". He spends most of the day basking under his heatlamp and hunting down crickets. His name is a reference to a RPG charcarter in the game 'Shadowrun'. My friends also call him: "Big D" or "Mr President"
